Meet the Team

As a young boy of 14, Dr. Rogers came to Salmon from his home in Boise to work on a ranch south of town, for the summer.  He returned each summer to work in the Lemhi Valley, all the while knowing that someday he would return to stay.   The following  school years led him away from Salmon for several years.   He attended Walla Walla college in Washington, graduating with two degrees. The first, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology with a minor in Biblical Languages. The second, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education with a minor in Health. With a certificate in teaching he spent two years as a teacher at Milo Academy in Oregon.  His desire to be of service grew with each passing year.  He applied for and was accepted into the dental program at Loma Linda University in southern California.   After graduation in 1981, he was asked to stay and teach at the dental school but his heart longed for the mountains of Idaho.  He set up his dental practice in an old log house on Main Street.  Even before his equipment was set up, a local man came to his door with his son in tow. This first patient  became a lifelong freind, with many to follow.

We love what we do, and we are devoted to making your experience with us as pleasant as possible.  Each member of our staff plays and important role in our "family" practice.   It is truly a family practice, with Jan (Mrs. Rogers), daughter's Alesha, Christie, and Jodi helping in your total dental care.  The youngest daughter is in college with aspirations of following in her fathers footsteps.
